WFU math econ graduate, Bennett Chiles, accepts tenure-track position at Columbia Business School

Bennett Stulting Chiles (’07) will join Columbia Business School’s Management Division as an Assistant Professor this coming fall.  Bennett is currently completing her Ph.D. in Strategy at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.  Her research explores the factors that shape the way in which firms present information, with a particular focus on the drivers of misleading business practices.  Before returning for her Ph.D., Bennett spent time working in strategy consulting and in the non-profit sector.  She also currently serves part-time as a data scientist for Hazel Analytics, an IT start-up focused on food safety.  Bennett graduated summa cum laude from Wake Forest with majors in Mathematical Economics and Art History.  She is proud to be a third-generation Demon Deacon.
