PhD Purdue University, economist at Federal Reserve Board and the Federal Reserve Banks of Chicago, Philadelphia, and Dallas, taught at the University of Birmingham, Eng. (Esmee Fairbairn Professor of Investment), Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, Kellogg School, Northwestern University, and Wake Forest University (Reynolds Professor of Economics). Most recent publication: Central Banking in a Democracy (Routledge, 2015).
