Economics Prizes
We award the David and Lelia Farr Prizes for Excellence in Economics and Excellence in Mathematical Economics, the Claire and Dan Hammond Economics Award for Leadership and Service, and the Michael Lawlor Macroeconomics Prize to outstanding students of the graduating class during Commencement weekend each spring. The Deacon Econ Prize is also awarded to the students who obtain the highest scores on the Department of Economics exit assessments in Economics and Mathematical Economics.
